This Privacy Policy explains what information the What's Next Athletics app collects, how it's used, and the choices available to coaches and athletes who use it. WNA is a training app that connects athletes with their coach for drills, feedback, and performance tracking.

Information We Collect

The app collects the following types of information as part of normal use:

Account information: name, email address, and role (coach or athlete).
Athlete profile information: name, age group, a profile photo (optional, added by the athlete), and self-reported measurements such as broad jump, throwing velocity, or similar training metrics.
Training content: swing videos and photos submitted for coach feedback, coach notes and feedback, assigned drills, training programs, and progress notes.
Athlete-submitted reflections: training reflections, personal training goals, and related notes the athlete chooses to enter.
Usage information: basic activity such as when the app was last used, to support features like progress tracking.

How Information Is Used

Information is used only to operate the app's core features:

Connecting an athlete's training activity with their coach so feedback and drills can be assigned.
Displaying an athlete's own progress, videos, and reflections back to them and their coach.
Enabling optional features such as team announcements (Athlete of the Month) and, where enabled, push notifications about new feedback or drills.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use athlete information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Who Can See What

A coach can see the training content, videos, and progress information for the athletes on their own roster. Athletes can see their own information and content their coach has shared with them. Athletes cannot see other athletes' private training data, videos, or feedback.

Information About Children
Many WNA athletes are minors. Athlete accounts are created and managed through the athlete's coach as part of an existing coaching relationship with the athlete's parent or guardian. Parents or guardians with questions about their child's information, or who wish to review, update, or delete it, should contact the coach directly, or reach us using the contact information below.

Data Storage and Security

Information is stored using industry-standard hosting and database providers with encryption in transit. Access to athlete data is restricted so that only an athlete's own coach, and the athlete themselves, can view it.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information is retained for as long as an athlete's account remains active on their coach's roster. A coach can remove an athlete from their roster at any time, which permanently deletes that athlete's associated feedback, drills, progress notes, and videos. To request deletion of your information, contact us using the information below.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party infrastructure providers (such as database and cloud hosting services) solely to operate the app's features. These providers do not have independent rights to use athlete information for their own purposes.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
